To rent movies from CINE-GENIC you’ll need to sign up to be a member and subscribe to our monthly service. Plans start at $12 a month, in exchange for full access to our film library. You can take home two titles at a time as many times as you’d like during each month. Just bring back your titles in exchange for new ones. No limits on exchanges. No late fees.

All rentals are for 2 weeks. We ask members to bring back titles ASAP within those two weeks. Doing so helps in-demand titles be on hand for other members to enjoy in a timely manner and allows you to check out more movies in a month. Sharing is caring.

Yep, no late fees for monthly subscribers. However, holding on to titles longer than our two week rental agreement will send our e-mail robots after you. We want others to enjoy the titles you’re hoarding. In the very worst of situations, repeat offenders may be subject to account cancellation or disk replacement costs for unreturned titles.

We share a retail space with Vortex Souvenir, so our hours will mimic theirs. Currently 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday. 11am-4pm on Sundays. BUT we have ideas for special extended hours on Friday evenings. Cause everyone loves picking up movies for the weekend and that nostalgic feeling of browsing the Video Store on a Friday night. Stay tuned for extended hours on our Instagram.

Sorry, we don’t currently have the muscle-power to assist in these requests. This helps us keep costs reasonable and allows you the joy of discovering one of our other titles in the meantime. Our entire catalog is catalogged on our Letterboxd Master List. You’re welcome to plan ahead and discover titles using that. Please don’t get grumpy if we don’t have your #1 pick in stock at any given time however. We’re trying our best to serve everyone.
